Namaste is an arrangement of colored figure (Bold ) and black/grey figure (Sentinel). Curved forms open towards each other which suggest greeting, acknowledgement, and respect. Namaste. For each figure geometric shapes and placement are identical on each side. For Bold the lavender and green shapes have exchanged colors from side to side, with the same color design feature for Sentinel's black and grey shapes.
Namaste is an indoor/outdoor, small-scale (maquette) version of the larger (48 inch) Namaste shown in the gallery.
For resilience and reduced maintenance the sculpture is formed from a single sheet of metal (stainless steel) and then finished using paints and processes (urethane/acrylic ) identical to those found in automotive and aerospace applications.
