This sculpture was completed in 2024, and it will be exhibited in 2025 at Art Expo/New York (Artivita/World Wide Art Pavilion, April 3--6 ,2025 ).
This sculpture recently received the sculpture "Award of Merit" in the
Spring Members' Exhibition/2024, Hopkins Center for the Arts, Hopkins, MN. (Twin Cities Metro Area), "Best in Show Sculpture" for the Viewpoint 56 Exhibition, Cincinnati Art Club, Cincinnati, OH, and it exhibited in the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Show/2024
The interpenetrating shapes of contrasting colors suggest motion and tension in a delicate arrangement, while evolving in complexity with viewing perspective.
For resilience and reduced maintenance the sculpture is formed from single sheets of metal (stainless steel) and it is finished using paints and processes (urethane/acrylic ) used in automotive and aerospace applications.
